The project proposes propose to use the transgressive potential of art to engage an intergenerational group of citizens and experts in an imaginative conception of alternative environmental narratives.
Thereby a) generating insights in the arrangements and conditions that are needed to disrupt daily routines and generate new ones; b) investigating whether the knowledge produced through a creative process of extended peer review is indeed ‘useful’ for policy-makers and industry; and c) exploring whether recognition and inclusion of situated knowledges indeed generates radically different perspectives on how we can live well and environmentally, or whether they represent the fine-tuning and, thereby, the maintenance of the status quo.
