Artist Simon Pope was employed as a post-doctoral researcher by Goldsmiths, University of London to work on Discussion Island – a participatory artwork that explored a lakeshore-community’s changing relationships to high-water events on Lake Ontario.
Exhibitions were staged on Toronto Island (March 2018) and Artscape,Toronto (May 2018); a paper – in the form of a video – was presented at the Seedbox colloquium in Linköping (September 2018).
