Katja Aglert is an independent artist, and affiliated to Tema Genus at Linköping University. As artistic leader and co-director of Seed Box she is responsible for the program’s arts-driven synthesis project and participates in the management team with specific focus on monitoring artistic activities. The arts-driven synthesis, the travelling exhibition project Seeding Arts and Environmental Humanities is led in in collaboration with Stefanie Hessler, curator and director of Trondheim kunsthall. Transdisciplinary in nature, Katja Aglert’s own artistic research is situated in feminist, more-than-human imaginaries, and includes both individual and collaborative projects. She exhibited widely in venues such as Marabouparken (SE); Biologiska Museet (SE); Sami Center for Contemporary Art, Karasjok (NO); Solyanka State Gallery, Moscow (RU); FLORA ars+natura, Bogota (COL); Museum for Contemporary Art, Santiago (CHL).
