First article from researchers in Seedbox project Values of Repair Practices published in Sustainablility.
In their new article, researchers Niskanen, McLaren and Anshelm conclude that a richer, more inclusive, and politicized understanding of repair can support environmental justice in the implementation of circular economy and provide greater opportunities for just and transformational sustainability strategies and policies. The article, Repair for a Broken Economy: Lessons for Circular Economy from an International Interview Study of Repairers, is the first from Seedbox project Values of Repair Practices.
During March 2021, two workshops on the subject “Repair in the circular economy” was arranged within the project. Taking part in the focus groups was different actors within the area of repairability in Sweden.
