The project researches vulnerability in a new materialist vein as an agentic site that is empowered in causing relations, participating in them, or transforming them. I argue for posthuman affect and ethics in Monique Roffey’s and Graham Swift’s writings to explore tangled naturecultures and reconsider anthropocentrism in the light of vulnerability.
