Marietta Radomska, PhD, is Assistant Professor in Environmental Humanities at the Department of Thematic Studies (unit Gender Studies) Linköping University, SE; founding director of The Eco- and Bioart Lab and Network; co-director of the international research platform and network The Posthumanities Hub; co-founder of Queer Death Studies Network and International Network for ECOcritical and DECOlonial Studies.

She is a member of pioneering international eco- and bioart organisation SOLU/The Bioart Society (FI), affiliated researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm and associate member of Posthumanism Research Institute at Brock University (CA). In years 2018-20 she was a visiting researcher at University of Helsinki (Art History) under The Swedish Research Council International Postdoc Grant.

Radomska is a philosopher and transdisciplinary gender studies scholar, and her work resides at the intersection of posthumanities, environmental humanities, philosophy, queer death studies, visual culture and contemporary art. Her current research project investigates how eco- and bioart contribute to the re-imagining of death in the context of the climate change and environmental crises.

She is the author of Uncontainable Life: A Biophilosophy of Bioart (dissertation 2016); co-editor of the book series ‘Focus on More-than-human Humanities’ at Routledge and of three special issues (including two Queer Death Studies-focused special issues of Australian Feminist Studies (2020) and Women, Gender & Research (2019)); and has published in Environment and Planning E: Nature and Space; Australian Feminist Studies; Somatechnics; Artnodes; Women, Gender & Research; and Angelaki among others.
