Emelie Fälton is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Thematic Studies: Environmental Change at Linköping University. With a bachelor’s degree in tourism studies and a master’s degree in environmental science, she focuses on the tourism industry and its environmental influence. She is foremost interested in tourism discourses about nature and its ethical values and focuses on Swedish national park tourism with its pedagogical orientation regarding nature.
Her research interests include tourism studies, environmental humanities, visual culture, environmental justice, environmental ethics, discourse studies and power studies.
