The KTH-based and Seed Box-funded project Toxic Bios. A Guerilla Narrative Project has launched a new platform.

The Stockholm based KTH Environmental Humanities Laboratory has launched Toxic Bios’ online, open access platform where everybody can contribute with a story. Toxic Autobiographies, is a distinct writing genre that is the product of individuals and communities denouncing the environmental injustice in which they feel trapped through stories of contamination and resistance. “Toxic Bios is a guerrilla narrative project, we aim at occupy mainstream narratives with the counter-hegemonic storytelling of the embodied experiences of toxicity and wasting”, with these words Marco Armiero and Ilenia Iengo, the researchers behind this project, describe their ambition.
